With the regular season coming to a quick end. Every win is important.
Last Friday the Lady Lynx found that out the hard way. Up by 14 at the half against cross town rival East, the Lady
Lynx let the game slip away and ened up losing by 5. Then on Tusday, West came to visit and the Lady Lynx had a great
showing with a big win.
LYNX JV WIN

Over the weekend the JV Lady Lynx had 3 quality wins over west JV, CIA, and perennial 2A power Ninilchik
to win the Ninilchik Invitational Tournament. On top of the win, Lady Lynx Chelsea Huffman, Kimmy Jackson, and Katie
Anderson all were voted to the All Tourney team by coaches at the tournament. While votes by the referees had both Lauren
Hanley & Kimmy Jackson making the All Sportsmanship Team. Congrats to the JV Lady Lynx!!!
Lynx Win on Road

During the past 5 conference games the Lady Lynx have been on a losing streak. But tonight on the road against
Eagle River they stopped the losing trend. While hoisting up 88 shot attempts the Lady Lynx managed to win decisively
against Eagle River. Keiahnna Engel lead all Lynx with 22pts & Jill DeGuzman added 18pts. Cierra Mickens lead Eagle

Lynx Lose at Home

After a tough loss to the Chugiak Mustangs in the Lady Lynx Prep Shootout. The Lady Lynx had a rematch
on Tusday night. In a tough battle the Lady Lynx lost again to the Lady Mustangs on their home court.
Lady Lynx Tournament

2008 brings on another great tournament hosted by the Lady Lynx. This marks the 7th season for the
Lady Lynx Prep Shootout with another outstanding field. Among the teams attending this years shootout are the 2007 State
Champions Wasilla Warriors, current state WPI #1 Chugiak, and all the way from the north, West Valley. This
should be another exciting tournament.
Dimond Wins on Road

On the road against the Service High Cougars, the Dimond Lady Lynx jumped out to an early first quarter
lead and never looked back. Leading the way for the Lady Lynx was Freshman Guard Keiahnna Engel with 20 points and

Peninsula Trip A Success

The Dimond Lady Lynx completed a successful road trip to the snowy Kenai Peninsula this past weekend, winning
games against both Homer and Kenai. The wins were a balanced team effort as everybody contributed equally
in scoring and rebounding efforts. Both Peninsula teams competed hard and gave the Lady Lynx all they could handle,
but the experience of the Lady Lynx seemed to be the deciding factor in both games.
Early Conference Win

Dimond managed to pull out a win while at visiting Bartlett High School. Even though Dimond was fresh
off a trip from Phoneix, the Lady Lynx seemed to be less than perfect. Bartlett kept the game close and made the Lady

Lynx Return From Phoenix

On the road for the first games of the year in the Nike Tournament of Champions. The Lady Lynx faced
3 very tough teams. These teams included Arizona's 2007 State Champs, Gilbert High, the current number 1 ranked 5A team.
Gilbert also happens to be coached by laker legend AC Green, Whos neiece also plays on the team. Last a team from O.J.
